Food Airbrush Cleaning Kit
Airbrush Cleaner
Cleaning your airbrush is the most important step in keeping it in good condition. This cleaning kit will not take you more than 5 minutes for the regular maintenance of your food or non-food airbrush.
How to clean the airbrush
The total disassembly and reassembly of the airbrush is not mandatory and even less essential for each color change. Simply pour some thinner into the airbrush gun 's paint reservoir and pull the trigger, spraying the liquid in bursts rather than continuously.
What product to use to clean an airbrush
If you don't have an airbrush cleaner at home, you can substitute it with alcohol or window cleaner. If these liquids are colored, add warm water and squeeze the airbrush trigger to spray the liquid out of the gun. Allow air to pass through the airbrush gun to drive out any residual moisture in your airbrush.
Why is my airbrush clogging?
The most recurrent problem is clogging of the airbrush nozzle. If your gun suddenly spits dye or the air pressure fluctuates unusually, it's probably clogged .
Why is my airbrush spitting?
First check if dried paint has not deposited on the end of the needle of your airbrush: a simple cotton swab is enough to extract it easily. If this is not the case, it may be due to a clogged nozzle , in which case you can pour a little cleaning liquid into the cup and then spray the cleaning product to unclog the airbrush nozzle.
Why isn't the paint coming out of my gun?
If the problem persists, it may be time to completely disassemble and clean your airbrush.
If you prefer to avoid cleaning your airbrush with every color change, it is recommended that you use a different airbrush gun . Discover our other airbrush materials in our airbrush accessories collection.
